BIXBY.CHURCH is a forever family that glorifies God by helping you find and fulfill God's purpose for your life. It is really amazing how many people go through life without ever discovering the purpose that they were made for. They keep busy working at a job, raising a family, paying bills, and living for the weekends, and then they leave this life without ever knowing the answer to the question, "Why do I exist?" We believe in being intentional in the way we live. God has a purpose for your life and a biblical strategy for helping you find and fulfill that purpose found in the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.
The Great Commandment
“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” Jesus replied: “ ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”

Our BIXBY.CHURCH icon illustrates our mission and values with five distinct pieces that represent our strategy for moving you around the bases of God's purposes. We use five purpose words that together spell BIXBY- Belong, Increase, Xpress, Bridge, Yield. Everything we do is centered on yielding our lives to God by fulfilling His purposes for our lives. This is a never-ending cycle of purposeful development as we focus on building people not steeples, families not facilities.
